Aia de Leon, Barbie Almalbis, Lougee Basabas, Hannah Olives and Acel bond over lunch

Aia de Leon, the former vocalist of Imago, met up for lunch with fellow musicians Barbie Almalbis, Lougee Basabas of Mojofly, Hannah Olives of SessionRoad, and Acel Bisa, formerly of Moonstar88, on Wednesday to catch up about what’s up with each of their lives.

On Facebook, Aia shared some group photos and selfies during their reunion.

“Today I had the privilege of having lunch with the queens, who I grew up sharing the gigging life with [through] a couple of decades,” the singer wrote in the caption.

Aia thanked Hannah, Barbie, Acel, and Lougee for a “chill and fun afternoon long catch-up” they just had.

“I’m over the moon to see you in the flesh [and] to hear some stuff about your lives,” she added.

Aside from catching up on their lives, Aia said they also exchanged tips and recommendations about Korean saunas, hair vitamins, healing vertigo maneuvers to even sharing recipes of a healthy mac and cheese for picky eater kids. You know, just self-care and mom things!

“Really grateful for today, MORE PLEASE!” Aia ended the post.

In 2020, Aia and Barbie, together with Kitchie Nadal, held a digital concert to raise funds for live music venue workers affected by COVID-19.
