GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes formally joins Sparkle as new head

GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes has formally joined Sparkle as its new head.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Friday, Gozon-Valdes was introduced in an intimate gathering with Sparkle officials and talent specialists.

Gozon-Valdes is also the president of GMA Films.

"I hope that I can lead Sparkle well and sana I can fulfill the demands of the position," she said. "I hope na tumuloy-tuloy, we can really be of service to our stars and to the network."

Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Network Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions, said she is excited for Sparkle with Gozon-Valdes at the helm.

"She's very a brilliant leader, talagang very active, and very involved sa careers ng mga artists. She's also into a lot of projects in terms of the network as a whole so talagang magiging very dynamic ang Sparkle," she said.

Joy Marcelo, Assistant Vice President for Talent Development and Management Department, added that she is always concerned for the artists.

"Iniisip niya parati may trabaho ba ang artista, tama ba 'yung trabahong binibigay n'yo sa artista," she said. "The artists can expect na kung ano mang talent meron sila they will be put to good use."
