Lieutenant Commander Dingdong Dantes attended the christening ceremony of two new Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas (BRP) at the Philippine Navy Headquarters Tuesday.
On his Instagram stories, the navy reservist shared some photos and clips from the event, where BRP Nestor Acero and BRP Lolinato To-Ong were welcomed.
In a Philippine News Agency (PNA) report, the navy’s spokesperson Commander Benjo Negranza said the “ships could be deployed to patrol and protect our littorals from any possible threats.”
They are also the “first two out of the nine FAICS-Ms acquired by the Philippines from Israel Shipyards Limited for PHP10 billion.”
Wearing his uniform, the Kapuso Primetime King was also generous enough to share with his followers some shots he took with fellow reservists.
On Monday, Philippine Navy Generals and Admirals also took the time to have some fun with Dingdong on “Family Feud.”
