Cassy Legaspi says beach getaway with Darren Espanto in Batangas was their first time traveling alone

Cassy Legaspi revealed that her recent beach trip with Darren Espanto in Batangas was their first time traveling alone.

In an interview with PEP.ph, the Kapuso actress said it has long been a part of their plans, so they immediately went when their time allowed them to.

"It was just the two of us," she said. "Masaya naman siya. We've been wanting to go out of town for so long tapos finally, our scheds were swak. So 'okay, let's go!' So we went."

Cassy added that she did not have a hard time asking permission from her parents Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi.

"My parents super trust D. Super trust," she said. "Nung nagpaalam ako, they said, 'Okay lang. Just be safe. Update lang.'"

Asked where she would want to go with Darren on their next trip, Cassy said Japan as it's her favorite country. The actor, meanwhile, has not been there yet.

The beach trip came just a month after Darren also paid a surprise visit to Cassy at the actress' home.

Darren and Cassy have long been good friends. On the singer's birthday months ago, Cassy said she loves that "everything about our friendship is so effortless."

Around Valentine's Day last year, netizens made a huge ruckus out of their convo about cup noodles.
