Max Eigenmann talks about growing up in a family of great actors

Max Eigenmann is shining brightly on her own, but what was it like to grow up in a family of great actors?

The daughter of actors Mark Gil and Bing Pimentel, Max followed her parents' footsteps, just like her brother Sid Lucero.

Her half-siblings on her father's side are Andi Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, and Ira Eigenmann. Meanwhile, her aunt was the late Cherie Gil.

However, Max revealed in an interview on "Updated with Nelson Canlas" that they actually never talk about work.

"Funny as it may seem, we never talk about work when were together, never," she said.

"I mean, we congratulate each other when we accomplished things, pero 'yung comparing notes type of thing, talking about or even giving each other advice with work, it's not something that we do or talk about," she added.

Max also said that they're just a "normal family."

"We never compare with each other," she added.

Max recently won best actress at the 18th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for her work in "12 Weeks." —JCB, GMA News
