Angelu De Leon bares details of 'puppy love' with 'TGIS' co-star Michael Flores

Angelu De Leon was paired with Bobby Andrews during "TGIS" days, but it's actually Michael Flores she had a real thing with.

In an interview on "Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel," the actress looked back on her memories with the cast of "TGIS" or "Thank God It's Sabado," but said she knew — and liked — Michael even before the show.

"It wasn't really serious, alam mo 'yung crush crush lang ganiyan, so kaya nakakatuwa nung nagkita kami doon sa Viva, parang ay, you're here," she said.

Angelu said they were still young when she developed her crush on Michael — she was only 13. She was 15 while shooting "TGIS," and by then they were only good friends.

"Kaya nga parang ano, parang ano to ... puppy love ," she said. "And then may mom was so strict pa, so wala namang date na alam mo 'yung ganun, so 'yun lang siya."

Meanwhile, Angelu also had a relationship with co-star Onemig Bondoc.

"Ganun din, 'yung crush crush, ganyan," she said. "Parang sabihin na nga natin si Bobby lang ang hindi ko nakatuluyan."

"Nakakaloka, life is like bat," she added.

However, Angelu said that none of that is really a big deal because at the end of the day, they're all friends, "kaya hindi siya nag-ma-matter."
