Christopher de Leon says acting is like therapy for him: ‘It gives pleasure to my soul’
Christopher de Leon is still very much passionate about acting as proven by his decades-long successful showbiz career.
In an online interview with the press Wednesday, the “Lolong” actor said among those that kept him going was the fact that he loved telling stories.
“I love being part of a story and I like to create characters. Nagiging therapy for me at the same time iyong being in another world, being another character,” he said.
“Nakakalimutan ko lahat ‘pag nag-roll na. I’m like in that world, I’m this character, I’m like this person, so it gives pleasure to my soul na I can do this,” he added.
The veteran actor plays Mayor Armando Banson on the GMA-7 adventure series “Lolong.”
“Lolong” also stars Ruru Madrid, Jean Garcia, Shaira Diaz, and Arra San Agustin, among other actors. New members of the cast include Vin Abrenica, Alma Concepcion, Thea Tolentino, Lucho Ayala, and Rafael Rosell. – RC, GMA News
