Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Gil Cuerva react to ‘Love You Stranger’ fan art and theories

“Love You Stranger” has received so much love ever since it premiered. With its finale week starting on Aug. 8, the cast truly appreciates the support the series has received from fans, a lot of whom have created artwork and conspiracy theories about the show.

Gil Cuerva, who played Tristan, told GMA News Online in a press conference that the cast and crew loved the show so much that they were “really thankful that people are making fan art,” and that he shared some art on his Instagram Stories sometimes.

“It makes it all the more better because not only do we love the show, but it's a great, immense feeling knowing that there are also fans who feel the same way, who also love the show, love the work that we put in,” he said.

Gabbi Garcia, who plays LJ, is likewise very thankful for all the Kapuso fans’ responses.

“Whenever I read their reactions, they're not just gushing over the artists. They're really invested [in] the story. They're really giving smart theories, smart feedback,” she said.

“Coming from an actor na talagang very passionate with the script, I appreciate it that people share the same passion when it comes to the show.”

Khalil Ramos, who played Ben, said he had been getting a lot of messages, tweets, and mentions “from people that [he’s] never interacted with before.”

“That just goes to show that we were able to reach a much wider [audience],” he said.

“When we were reading all these comments, these tweets, they are talagang full of wisdom. They would appreciate very, very small details that the show did.”

Given how the show tackles heavy topics, Khalil hopes this is just the beginning of bringing these into the mainstream.

“So sobrang nakakatuwa kasi we see the audience evolving alongside the TV show medium. So we're very, very happy to see that. Hopefully in the future, we'll get to do more of these types of shows,” he said.
