‘Eat Bulaga’ Dabarkads congratulate Maine Mendoza on her engagement

After their opening number for their 43rd anniversary celebration on Saturday, the “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads congratulated Maine Mendoza on her engagement to Arjo Atayde.

With their 143 theme, the Dabarkads said their I love yous to each other following Vic Sotto’s lead.

Bossing then segued by saying, “usapang love!”

“Ang ‘Daddy’s Girl’ ko, mag-le-level up na ang love,” he said. “Engaged na, congratulations!”

The Dabarkads and the live studio audience followed suit and said their congratulations.

“Thank you itay, thank you Dabarkads!” Maine said with a huge smile.

Maine announced her engagement to Arjo on Friday night in an Instagram post. It was a grand proposal with fireworks and a garden setup with a huge sign bearing the words “will you marry me?”

Maine first revealed that she and Arjo were dating in 2019. Arjo previously shared that they had talked about marriage, and Maine had also been open about wanting to settle down and have her own family one day.
