Derrick Monasterio, Elle Villanueva choose each other to be their companion if they get stranded on an island

If there’s anyone in the world they can be stranded with on an island, Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva hope it will be each other.

In an online interview with the press, the “Return to Paradise” stars made everyone kilig when they said they would want to be stuck with each other.

According to Derrick, he chose Elle because of her wonderful personality.

“Kung kahit sino sa atin na makasama siya sa island, makausap siya at maging personal with her, gano’n ang sasabihin. She’s special. Iba iyong dating, vibe niya, personality niya,” he said.

Elle, meanwhile, said she had learned to trust Derrick as a co-star and companion. She also joked that Derrick’s physique would be helpful in such a situation.

“Unang-una, malakas siya. Pwede ko siyang utusan para magamit natin iyong muscles [niya] and dahil nagkakasundo kami sa lahat ng bagay and we trust each other,” she said.

“Importante iyon kapag nasa isang isla ka. Dapat trusted mo iyong kasama mo. Resourceful din siyang tao and maalaga so kaya iyan kung si Derrick,” she added.

According to the two, their workshops were instrumental in helping them build their trust for each other.

“Return to Paradise” revolves around Red Ramos (Derrick) and Eden Santa Maria (Elle), who will get stranded on an island and fall in love. When they return to reality, they will learn that their parents have conflicts that can greatly affect their love for each other. – RC, GMA News
