Garrett Bolden is cast as John Thomas for 'Miss Saigon' in Guam
Garrett Bolden has been cast to play John Thomas for the "Miss Saigon" show in Guam.
The Kapuso Soul Balladeer shared the news on Instagram, Sunday, saying he "prayed hard for this." He offered his thanks to the Lord.
"It's always been a dream of mine to venture into theatre and I know that joining 'Miss Saigon' is one for the books," he said.
"As a singer, I know that I would grow and learn more as I try new things in this career. Thank you for the never ending support, mga Kapuso! Lahat ng ito ay para sa inyo."
In a video, Garrett said knowing that he will be playing an important role in the story encourages him to give justice to the character.
He added that he's leaving next month to start rehearsals. The shows in Guam will be in September.

Garrett, "The Clash" Season 1 finalist, is popular for his songs including "Pwede Pa Ba" and "Our Love."
