Ruru Madrid tries out the new ‘Lolong’ filter

Lolong transforms into Dakila?

The lead star of “Lolong,” Ruru Madrid tried out the series’ new Instagram and Facebook filter and he looks like he had fun with it.

Ruru transformed into a crocodile when he faced the screen. With the filter’s action-filled background music, Ruru added a “roar” at the end too.

The filter, developed by NMI Creatives in partnership with the GMA Public Affairs Social Media team, was launched on the platforms on Tuesday morning.

According to GMA Public Affair’s Twitter account, “Lolong” fans who use the filter can have the chance to get featured on their social media accounts, as well as the chance to win a virtual meet and greet with the cast! All they have to do is to tag @gmapublicaffairs in their videos.

Ruru’s co-stars Paul Salas, Shaira Diaz, Arra San Agustin, and Marco Alcaraz, who is the series’ newest addition, have also tried out the Lolong filter.

“Lolong” is one of the top series that premiered on the Kapuso network this year.

Ruru plays the title character in the fantasy-serye. Lolong is a selfless young man who wants to help those in trouble, and also tells the story of his unusual friendship with a giant crocodile named Dakila.
