Bea Alonzo reveals little-known things about her favorite leading man, John Lloyd Cruz

John Lloyd Cruz remains Bea Alonzo's favorite leading man.

"Because we've known each other since we were kids," Bea said in an episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas."

"I've known him for more than half my life - 21 years!" She continued.

According to Bea, John Lloyd may seem so complicated, but the truth is the actor is actually very "passionate and so loving to everyone."

"I wish everybody knew how sensitive and how empathic he is," Bea said of her leading man in so many movies.

Describing John Lloyd as compassionate, Bea said the actor is always ready to lend a helping hand. "Marami na siyang natulungang tao na hindi alam ng maraming tao," Bea continued.

"Like, hindi mo alam na may na-ospital na kaibigan or nakatrabaho, siya nagbayad ng buong hospital bill. 'Yong mga ganon."

"Hindi mo alam how compassionate he is, and how generous and how loving. Ang alam ng mga tao, he's very complicated but parang lahat ng 'yon all rolled into one. That is John Lloyd, that's how interesting he is."

Thanks to their acting chops and more importantly, their blazing chemistry, John Lloyd and Bea remain the most successful love teams in recent showbiz history.

In the podcast, the Kapuso actress said there are a lot of plans for a new project team-up between the two of them.

"Maraming plano," Bea said. "at hindi lang pelikula."

Bea and John Lloyd are currently with GMA Network, with Bea working on the Philippine adaptation of "Start-Up" and John Lloyd headlining the sitcom "Happy ToGetHer." — LA, GMA News
