We can’t wait for ‘TiktoClock,’ GMA’s upcoming out-of-the-box variety show

What do you get when you bring together a news personality, a comedienne, and a beauty queen? Why, an out-of-the-box variety show!

Kuya Kim Atienza, Pokwang, and Rabiya Mateo are the unlikely mix of hosts of GMA's upcoming variety show "TiktoClock." It features games with an intense time limit plus surprises where live studio audience and even home viewers can receive prizes.

The biggest surprise perhaps is the unexpected mix of hosts. According to Kuya Kim, the very unlikely combination creates a show that's not predictable.

“Yun ang maganda diba kasi outside the box. Pag nagsama ka ng mga tao na predictable, na alam mo naman na puro performer lahat, then you know more or less what to expect. But you put together a beauty queen, a news personality, and a comedian—kakaiba,” Kuya Kim said during the show’s media conference.

“Hindi mo alam magiging reaksyon ng isang comedianne [pag] ang kausap niya, trivia guy. Isang trivia guy, kausap niya isang beauty queen — hindi mo alam. Hindi timplado eh, so magugulat ka.”

Pokwang added, “Kung baga sa sahog, kumpleto kami. Nasa amin na ang lahat. Tatatlo lang kami, pero napupuno namin yung show.”

“Sa tulong ng aming mga writers, aming creative people, at tsaka yung mga bisita, talagang mas naku-kumpleto. Mas nagiging bongga,” she said.

We’re definitely looking forward to the dynamics of the three hosts on stage.

“TiktoClock,” GMA Network’s upcoming variety show, will air Monday to Friday starting July 25 at 11:15 a.m. — LA, GMA News
