Maine Mendoza marks 7th anniversary in showbiz

Has it really been seven years since Maine Mendoza entered showbiz?

On Twitter late Monday, the Phenomenal Star marked her show business anniversary with much gratitude. "So blessed and forever grateful to be living this life," Maine began her series of tweets.

"Before this day ends, I just want to say thank you to everyone who greeted and remembered. Maliit na bagay man sa iba pero malaking bagay sa akin – kaya maraming salamat sayo. Maraming salamat sa inyo," she continued.

Of course it wouldn't be a Maine thing without her signature funny tone. She ended her little commemoration on Twitter with a candid question: "Shocks talaga bang saktong 12?"

In case life has been full throttle for you, too: It was on July 4, 2015 when Eat Bulaga introduced Maine Mendoza as Yaya Dub in the "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the longest-running noontime show.

Shortly thereafter, a record-breaking love team with Alden Richards was formed when the camera mistakenly panned on Maine as she was gushing on the Kapuso hunk.

Would you believe that Maine auditioned for Eat Bulaga on June 19, 2015, or just two weeks before she was launched?
