Cassy Legaspi says she's lucky to experience many firsts in 'First Yaya' and 'First Lady'

Cassy Legaspi is grateful for the experiences she gained with her stint as Nina in GMA series "First Yaya" and "First Lady."

On Instagram, Sunday, the Sparkle actress thanked the cast and crew she worked with in her first-ever show.

"I am so lucky to have experienced so many firsts in First Yaya [and] First Lady," Cassy said.

According to Cassy, it marked a lot of firsts for her. It was her first show, first character, first lock-in and non-lock-in experience, first crying scene, first kilig scene, and more.

"But most importantly nagkaroon ako ng [I gained a] First Family," she said.

She then thanked the people behind "First Yaya" and "First Lady," including the writers, casts, crew, and directors.

"And of course Direk Apreal," she wrote. "Thank you and congratulations dahil ako 'yung ka una-unahan mong dinerek na eksena [because I was in the very first scene you directed], it's an honor."

She also thanked director LA Madridejos for believing in her and pushing her to leave her comfort zone.

"And for reminding me kung ano 'yung kaya kong gawin [what I can do]. I can never thank you enough Direk," Cassy said.

In 2021, Director LA lauded Cassy for her drive to learn more about acting on her first teleserye.

Cassy also said that there would never be goodbyes because of the bond they built in filming the series.

"Instead, we say see you soon," she said.
