Glaiza De Castro says ‘Running Man Philippines' is a good way for the cast to show their true selves
The all-star cast of “Running Man Philippines,” made up of Mikael Daez, Glaiza de Castro, Ruru Madrid, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy de Santos, and Angel Guardian will be traveling to South Korea soon to film the series.
The year’s most anticipated reality show will see these crowd-favorite artistas playing exciting games or else they would end up with funny punishments.
A step away from the characters they play on teleseryes, the cast is excited to start an unscripted show not just to provide entertainment for Filipino families, but also to show their true selves.
“I think magandang avenue ‘to sa amin para makita ng mga tao kung sino talaga kami,” Glaiza continued.
“Whether maputikan kami or ganyan—si G-Dragon nga nag-pu-putik-putik eh diba. So isa din yun sa mga iniisip namin na ready kami sa lahat ng bagay. And I think mas maganda nga na hindi namin iniisip yung image namin.
“Kasi for the longest time ayun yung concern namin pagka sa Instagram, sa TV. So I think sa aming mga actors, parang break din siya to not care too much about our image and how we look.”
The actress-singer noted that their goals are to accomplish the challenges and missions, have fun, and build a stronger foundation for their friendship.
"This makes us a lot more excited for 'Running Man Philippines',” she said. — LA, GMA News
