Tetchie Agbayani says she doesn't classify people as 'fake': 'We just have different masks'
We've all encountered people we'd probably label as "fake," but Tetchie Agbayani has a wise take on the topic.
In a mediacon for the upcoming GMA series "The Fake Life," the actress said that people simply have different masks.
"They have a mask they wear with their friends or with their colleagues, so in many ways, it's hard for me to say that definitely a person is fake. Sometimes lang siguro we see different masks being worn by people," she said.
Tetchie said that she likes observing people and understanding what pushes and motivates them.
"People are never static, they're always static. Maybe changing for the better, maybe changing for the worst," she said.
"In that sense, I can't classify anyone as fake. We just have different masks and different given times," she added.
Tetchie will star in "The Fake Life" alongside Beauty Gonzalez, Ariel Rivera, and Sid Lucero. The story follows Onats, who finds out his wife has been keeping a secret from her past that is now threatening their present.
Other cast members include Jake Vargas, Kristoffer Martin, Bea Binene, Will Ashley, Rina Reyes, Saviour Ramos, Bryan Benedict, Jenny Miller, and Faye Lorenzo.
The show will air on GMA this June. —JCB, GMA News
