Kylie Padilla introduces billiards prodigy Joni in ‘Bolera’ trailer
Viewers can’t help but be excited for Kylie Padilla’s comeback on primetime TV as she leads the cast of GMA Network’s latest drama “Bolera.”
On Tuesday, GMA Network released the full 13-minute trailer for “Bolera,” which followed the colorful life of Joni, daughter of a former billiards champion.
Kylie plays Joni, a billiards prodigy who aims to prove herself worthy in the male-dominated sport.
The Kapuso actress appears on “Bolera” after her last soap in 2019, “TODA One I Love.”
On Wednesday, Kylie shared some fans’ comments on the trailer.
“So excited to watch this knowing na gold medalist ng SEA [Games] ang consultant/trainer nila,” said one commenter.
Among those who trained the cast for the series was 31st SEA Games gold medalist Johann Chua.
Billiard champions Efren “Bata” Reyes, Django Bustamante, and Rubilen Amit also extended their support.
Another commenter said: “Teaser pa lang ang ganda na. Iba talaga ang gawang GMA.”
Sharing her excitement, Kylie wrote on her Instagram: “Sobrang excited na akong mapanuod nyo. Paulit-ulit kong sasabihin na napamahal talaga ako sa show na ito.”
The actress also praised the cast, crew, and writers for a job well done.
“Bolera” also stars Jak Roberto, Rayver Cruz, Al Tantay, Jaclyn Jose, and Gardo Verzosa, among other cast members.
It will premiere on GMA Telebabad on May 30 at 8:50 p.m. – RC, GMA News
