Kris Bernal wants to debunk this 'damaging myth' as she turns 33
Kris Bernal has an important message to share as she turns 33.
On Instagram, the actress shared some outtakes from a recent shoot along with a powerful message of debunking a “damaging myth.”
“No one is perfect, don’t fall for this illusion. We tend to relentlessly strive toward the concept of plain black and WHITE, RIGHT and wrong, left and RIGHT,” she said, adding that on her 33rd birthday, she wants to invalidate this illusion.
“We are all human. We make mistakes. We sin. Our sins don’t make us less as a person — it humanizes us in all forms,” she added. “We cannot avoid it entirely and we are all going to fall for it at times. But, the GOOD news is we can all be redeemed.”
Kris also said that what’s important is that “we all learn the difference between good and evil and experience joy, growth and become better.”
“Strive to do GOOD! Remember, whatever word or action you send to the universe, you’ll receive it back,” she added.
Kris has always been vocal about body positivity and self-acceptance.
On multiple occasions, she shut down body-shamers and hit back at those who criticized her body. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
