How Alden Richards prepares for kissing scenes

In his 11 years in show business, Asia's Multimedia star Alden Richards has one rule when preparing for his kissing scenes: do not overthink.

Appearing in "Updated with Nelson Canlas" podcast, Alden said "overthinking" is what kills an actor's performance when it comes to kissing scenes.

So he makes sure that he is in the right headspace before acting.

Of course, aside from mentally preparing for the scene, Alden also ensures proper hygiene, like brushing his teeth.

"Siguraduhin mong wala kang kung ano-anong nandiyan, and you don't overthink," he told Nelson.

"Let it flow. Gano'n ako eh," he added, "not only sa kissing scenes but also in most of my scenes."

According to Alden, he prepares his actions more than his emotions.

"Do not prepare your emotions kasi it will look fake. Acting na nga siya ia-acting mo pa," Alden said with a laugh.

In the podcast, Alden, who guested in a podcast for the first time, also gave some big revelations about his love life, including his TOTGA or the one that got away.
