Ruby Rodriguez and Jaya reunite in the States
Filipino OFWs and expats would know: There isn't anything like finding a fellow Pinoy while you're in foreign soil and exchanging pleasantries in the native language.
That's what we're picking up from the warm hug between Ruby Rodriguez and singer Jaya on Instagram.
In an IG post on Monday, Ruby shared she reunited with fellow Filipino in the States — in Noypitz Cerritos, to be exact, a popular bar and grill located in, well Cerritos California, serving Filipino food.
"Reunited and it feels so good!!"Ruby exclaimed.
"I missed u mare! Love ya," she added, tagging the Filipino singer, who returned to the U.S. last year, in the middle of the pandemic.
According to Ruby's IG Stories, she went to watch Jaya perform on stage, at Noypitz Cerritos, where fellow artista Rufa Mae Quinto also joined.
Rufa Mae also posted about the event on her Instagram, showing what a good time is like with a bunch of Filipinos.
Jaya is the latest in the growing list of Filipinos Ruby has been seeing since she moved to the US in March 2021.
