Sergeant Geneva Cruz shares her experience in singing the national anthem

After graduating as a sergeant from her Philippine Air Force training, Geneva Cruz was invited to sing the Philippine National Anthem at a Philippine Air Force event.

On Wednesday, May 11, Geneva uploaded on Instagram some of the highlights of her experience.

“I was invited by Commanding General, LTGEN Connor Anthony Canlas, PAF (1st photo) yesterday to attend and sing the Philippine National anthem for the first time as a Sgt. in uniform at their annual budget presentation,” Geneva wrote in the caption.

In the photos, the sergeant was seen wearing her uniform proudly as she stood alongside several high-ranking army personnel. She also posted a short video of herself singing the Philippine national anthem.

“It was such an honor to be in the presence of The Secretary of National Defense and 3 Commanding Generals and Flag Officers of the 3 major services,” she added tagging the Philippine Air Force, the Philippine Army, and the Philippine Navy. 

Geneva finished her Philippine Air Force training in March 2022. — LA, GMA News
