Maria Ozawa says she's 'happier' in the Philippines: 'I love everything about it'

Maria Ozawa has returned to the Philippines for an event, and she couldn't contain her excitement over being back.

The pandemic has kept the Japanese actress in her home country for the past two years, but she traveled to Manila over the weekend to launch Maria’s Room, an online gaming portal designed for her by M88 Mansion.

"I love the Philippines, I love everything about it," she said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.

"Everyone is so nice and laid back, and their hospitality is very, very different from where I came from. I look at myself and I can see that I am happier here," she added.

She also said that she missed the food, the weather, and the beaches.

Unfortunately, Maria couldn't travel around the country at this time as her visit is only short.

"I came to pick up my dog which I left for two years. We did some paperwork and I think we're ready to bring him back to Japan," she said.

However, the report added that Maria might return to the Philippines to further promote Maria's Room.

Maria's Room offers popular online casino games, including Bikini Party, Football Baby, and more.

"This is my very first big project. So, that means I can come back here to the Philippines for business also. I'm just really excited," she said.

Maria has been open about her love for the Philippines after several visits to the country for business partnerships and projects.

In an interview in 2015, she said she considers the Philippines as her second home. —JCB, GMA News
