Filipina hitmaker Beabadoobee to play Coachella ~and~ Glastonbury music fests

Well, how about that for Beabadoobee?!

The UK-based Filipina hitmaker is slated to perform two of the largest music festivals this year, Coachella and Glastonbury.

According to the Coachella website, Beabadoobee is scheduled to hit the stage on both Sundays of the two-weekend fest, April 17 and 24.

"Playin on Sunday babyyyyyy," she simply wrote on Instagram.

Headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Ye, the massive Coachella music festival this year will be a two-weekend bonanza after being postponed in 2020 and then again in 2021 due to COVID-19.

The 22-year-old Beabadoobee, whose real name is Beatrice Kristi Laus, has been releasing music independently.

Ahead of her second album "Beatopia," to drop in July 2022, the singer has released her single "Talk," which she wrote shortly after dropping her debut album "Fake it Flowers" in 2020.

Apart from the huge music festivals, Beabadoobee will also go on a massive tour this year, with stops in the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, and the UK culminating in a show at London's legendary Brixton Academy.

Bea was born in Iloilo, Philippines and migrated to the UK at age 3. In an interview with GMA News Online, she shared being raised with a steady diet of OPM including APO Hiking Society, The Eraserheads, and Itchyworms.
