Carla Abellana to play Mary Ann Armstrong on ‘Voltes V: Legacy’

Carla Abellana will be part of the GMA Network’s “Voltes V: Legacy”!

According to Lhar Santiago’s “24 Oras” report Wednesday, the Kapuso actress will play Mary Ann Armstrong, a scientist and the mother of Steve, Big Bert, and Little John.

Lhar’s interview with Carla was her first on TV since her rumored breakup with Tom Rodriguez. However, the actress declined from addressing personal matters.

Describing her role, Carla called it a big blessing. “Napakalaking blessing sobra, iyon po ang nagpapasaya sa akin ngayon talaga, nagpapangiti sa akin ng malaki,” she said.

Carla had begun taping and she couldn’t help but be awed by the scale of the production.

“Ang ganda ng set, ang ganda ng costumes, ang huhusay ng mga bata umarte. It’s amazing,” she said.

Carla also revealed that she would be spending a considerable amount of time at taping and she did not have other plans at the moment. – RC, GMA News
