Nadia Montenegro airs frustration over theft inside membership shopping store

Actress Nadia Montenegro took to social media to report a theft incident inside membership shopping store S&R in Novaliches on Wednesday, Mar. 2. According to Nadia, her mother lost P130,000 in less than three minutes.

"My mom's wallet was stolen by a group of seven people inside S&R. We are here in S&R Novaliches. My mom is here crying because in three minutes, as soon as they found out her wallet is missing, they reported it to S&R. And in three minutes, nakalabas po yung pitong tao na nagnakaw ng pera niya," Nadia said in a two-minute video she posted across all her social media platforms.

"How can this happen inside a membership club? We are not safe anywhere. [Good] thing my mom, I and sisters are safe," she also wrote in a Facebook caption.

According to Nadia, police had responded to investigate the case upon her request.

In a separate post. Nadia shared a CCTV screenshot when the incident happened. In the photo, her mom was seen swarmed by a group of guys who presumably stole her wallet.

“Pinagkumpulan niyo nanay ko! Pinagplanuhan niyo nanay ko. Senior citizen! Nagtrabaho ng ilang taon sa America, naghirap! Tapos nanakawin niyo lang?” Nadia wrote.

"Napatawad ko na kayo. Now it's time to pay for the consequences of your evil actions! Paid 700 to be a member thinking it was safe to shop in S&R. You have a lot to do with this issue," the actress concluded.
