Xian Lim is a pregnant husband in new rom-com series 'False Positive'

Gender roles just got flipped in GMA-7's upcoming romantic comedy series "False Positive."

In a new teaser released on Wednesday, Xian Lim's character, Edward, is introduced as a pregnant husband!

Glaiza De Castro, who plays Edward's wife Yannie, is the one pregnant in the beginning but things take a sudden turn when the newlyweds have a fight.

"Sana ikaw na lang 'yung buntis nang malaman mo kung gaano kahirap 'yung pinagdaraanan ko ngayon!" Yannie wails one evening.

["I wish you're the one pregnant instead so you would know how it's so difficult for me right now!"]

Edward then begins to experience pregnancy symptoms, so apparently the universe granted her wish!

He is in denial of course, questioning the doctor how can he possibly be carrying a fetus in his belly, but he eventually accepts it even does a maternity shoot.

"Ganito pala 'yung pakiramdam nung magkaka-baby [So this is how it feels like to have a baby]," he tells Yannie.

Meanwhile, Yannie, no longer pregnant, rides a motorcycle like a boss!

"False Positive" also stars Nova Villa, Tonton Gutierrez, Rochelle Pangilinan, Dominic Roco, Yvette Sanchez, Luis Hontiveros, Buboy Villar, and Herlene Budol.

No date has been announced yet for the series' premiere, but Xian previously made fans kilig after posting behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.
