Is Heart Evangelista quitting soaps after 'I Left My Heart in Sorsogon'?
Heart Evangelista has previously said that "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon" might be her last soap opera.
But during the "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon" media conference on Friday, the Kapuso actress and style icon admitted that watching the episodes made her second-guess her decision.
"I said it with finality the last time, but when I started to watch the show, I realized how I also loved acting din pala," she said.
Heart said that there were TV projects that she would still be open to, like three-episode specials. As for movies, she said she's "definitely" open to them, but it depends on who her leading man would be.
However, she stressed that her main problem was managing her time.
"Sa schedule lang talaga, hindi ko kaya. I have so much to balance," she said. "Ayoko mag-promise that I will have time."
Heart was the one to come up with the idea for the teleserye "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon." She got the idea when she lived in the province for two months.
The show follows the story of Celeste (Heart), a beautiful and headstrong "Manila girl" who finds her way back to Sorsogon and gets caught in a love triangle with two men: Mikoy (Paolo Contis) and Tonito (Richard Yap.)
Viewers will find out who Celeste will choose in the finale, which is set to air in a few days. —JCB, GMA News
