Dion Ignacio thankful, honored to play Dingdong Dantes’ ‘twin’ on ‘I Can See You: AlterNate’

Dion Ignacio has revealed that he is honored to be chosen as Dingdong Dantes' on-screen double on "I Can See You: AlterNate."

On Monday, Dion shared photos of himself on set with Dingdong as they portrayed twin characters and displayed their uncanny resemblance with each other.

"Until now I can't believe that I was able to work with Kuya Dong, one of the veterans and most awarded actors, in a series that was given so much time, talent, and effort. I'm so proud to have been chosen as your alternate," Dion wrote in Filipino.

According to Dion, Dingdong is one of the first actors he has idolized since he started working in the entertainment industry.

"I want to thank you, Kuya Dong, for guiding me through everything, for all the lessons I learned from you. Rest assured I will bring it along with me for the rest of my career. I can only hope that I'll work with you again in another project," he said.

Dion also thanked everyone behind "I Can See You: AlterNate" for giving him the opportunity and congratulated them for the show's success.

In the comments, cheers were sent by both fans and fellow actors, including his co-star Dingdong.

"Bro, thank you for your amazing acting. My time with you wasn't enough, and I hope we'll be given more chances to work together again. For now, teach me how to use blades and the guitar!" he said.

Prior to Dion's post, Dingdong also took the time to share his praises for his on-screen "twin."

"I Can See You: AlterNate," a miniseries launched last month, revolves around twins, both played by Dingdong, who live separate lives until their paths finally cross.
