Dingdong Dantes thanks ‘I Can See You’ double Dion Ignacio: ‘This show is impossible to mount without an actor like him’

After his on-screen double on "I Can See You: AlterNate" was revealed to be Dion Ignacio, Dingdong Dantes expressed his utmost gratitude for his co-actor.

On Monday, Dingdong shared photos of himself with Dion during their scenes together as both actors displayed their uncanny resemblance with each other.

"The news is finally out! I'm very happy to have co-created #ICSYAlterNate's 'Nate' and 'Michael' with Dion Ignacio," Dingdong wrote on Instagram.

According to Dingdong, one of the important lessons he had learned being in the industry for a long time was "acting is reacting," specifically to the changing atmospheres and emotions of their co-actors.

"Dion delivered more than what this show has asked for him. He was very committed and passionate on his role," Dingdong said.

"He also went through all the steps I had gone through in creating these characters with me. Sometimes I even get tips from him whenever he wears the Nate and or Michael hat," he added.

"I honestly felt like this show is impossible to mount without an actor like him. And I think for a person to succeed in this industry, a good working attitude would trump talent any given day. Dion has both."

Expressing his happiness to have worked with Dion as his twin and "literal alternate," Dingdong shared his excitement for his co-actors's future endeavors.

"I Can See You: AlterNate," a miniseries launched last month, revolves around twins, both played by Dingdong, who live separate lives until their paths finally cross.
