This actor served as Dingdong Dantes' mystery double in 'I Can See You: AlterNate'

With Dingdong Dantes playing twins in the latest installment of "I Can See You" titled "AlterNate," one couldn't help but wonder how the team was able to pull off shooting the two roles.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Monday, the Kapuso Primetime King revealed that they used a body double, who is none other than Dion Ignacio!

Apart from having almost the same height and build, Dong and Dion paid attention to the smallest details, including their hair and how they moved.

"Ginaya ko 'yung hair para s'yempre 'pag may mga shot na nakatalikod o side view," Dion said. "Mahirap din eh kasi 'yung blockings namin, kailangan tandaan."

["I copied his hair for the shots where the back is turned or on side view. It's also difficult because we need to remember our blockings."]

"Kung ano 'yung kinilos ko do'n sa eksenang 'yon, kailangan maparating ko kay Kuya Dong," he added.

["How I moved in that scene, I needed to communicate that to Kuya Dong."]

The two first crossed paths during the first season of reality competition "StarStruck," where Dingdong was a host and Dion was a contestant. Twenty years later, Dingdong couldn't help but be proud of Dion for his growth and talent.

"Kahit sabihin mong wala sa kanya 'yung camera pero 'yung energy na binibigay niya, 'yung interpretation niya sa role, really means a lot," Dingdong said. "Ang dami kong mga nakuha ring tips sa kanya."

["Even though the camera was not focused on him, the energy he poured, his interpretation to the role, really means a lot. I got a lot of tips from him."]
