Ricky Lee joins the creative team of upcoming fantasy series 'Sang'gre'

Highly acclaimed writer Ricky Lee has joined the creative team for GMA's upcoming fantasy series "Sang'gre."

"Encantadia" director Mark Reyes announced the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a screencap of the group's video conference and revealing some of the members of the creative team behind the much-awaited spin-off of the hit series "Encantadia."

In the photo, award-winning screenwriter and novelist Lee can be seen with Reyes,  "Encantadia" creator Suzette Doctolero, senior program manager Ali Marie Nokom-Dedicatoria, creative head RJ Nuevas, and writers Anna Aleta Nadela, Jake Somera, and Ays de Guzman.

Reyes wrote, "And the portal to the world of 'Encantadia' is open once again. Meet the creative team of 'Sang'gre.'"

Ricky Lee joined GMA as its creative consultant last year.
