Joyce Pring reveals family's bout with COVID-19
The #Juanchoyce household apparently had a brush with COVID-19.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Joyce Pring revealed that her family just “weathered a bout with the ‘vid,” and that they were “all finally recovering.”
The podcast host and first-time mom also shared a pic with her husband Juancho Trivino and their six-month-old son Eliam in an Instagram story with a text saying "The 'VID' survivors... Thank God!"
Joyce's post did not mention any details about who tested positive or if they showed any symptoms.
She did, however, share a major realization after battling the disease.
“I do have some thoughts about it, but none I think that other people who have gone through it haven’t already reiterated… All’s left to say is this — the battle with the ‘vid is a mental one almost as much as it is physical,” Joyce wrote.
“But what I kept holding onto in the daze of the disease was this: It’s never about peace despite circumstances, but peace with God," she added.
The hardest thing about sickness, Joyce continued, "is it forces us to come face to face with our own fragile existence - and even worse, the fragile existence of those we love.”
Joyce also shared an encouraging message for those who are still battling COVID-19.
"Praying for all of you who are still in quarantine, recovering, and those of you who are pulling all the Matrix moves to continue avoiding this thing. Praise God for our restored health!" she wrote.
