Veteran comedian Don Pepot passes away

Veteran comedian Don Pepot, whose real name is Ernesto Fajardo, has passed away. He was 88 years old.

According to his daughter Michelle Fajardo, who confirmed the news to Super Radyo DZBB, Don Pepot passed away on Tuesday evening in the Veteran Memorial Hospital due to severe pneumonia brought by COVID-19.

Don Pepot, who rose to fame in the 1980s, was known for his roles in "John and Marsha," and "Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako."

His remains are set to be cremated on Wednesday in Valenzuela. —JCB, GMA News
