Geneva Cruz does first-ever 'bed scene' in 33 years, daughter reacts

Geneva Cruz has finally done a “bed scene” after 33 years in the industry, but it’s not what you think.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress and singer shared a clip from GMA-7’s “Little Princess” where she was smoking a cigarette in bed with Marx Topacio.

“FYI: I’ve been in this business for 33 years, and this was my first bed scene, as in scene sa bed lang pala so… yahooo,” she wrote in the caption.

“Thankful to Unit 2’s super director Linette [Zurbano] and my co-actor @marx_topacio for their patience in guiding me,” she added.

Geneva was watching “Little Princess” with her daughter London, and you can hear their adorable conversation in the video.

“It’s acting, okay? That’s acting, baby,” Geneva can be heard saying.

London then asked, “Why do you have to be mean?”

Geneva replied: “Mommy’s work is to pretend on TV.”

"Smoking is bad, too," London also told her mom, and Geneva assured her she wasn’t really smoking.

“I know. Mommy doesn’t smoke, okay? I wasn’t really smoking,” she said.

Geneva Cruz is an actress and singer known for OPM classics like “’Kailan” and “Anak ng Pasig.”

In “Little Princess,” she plays Odessa Montivano, the kontrabida (villain) to the main lead Princess played by Jo Berry. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
