Jo Berry shows new side on ‘Little Princess’

Jo Berry will be revealing a new side of herself on the upcoming Kapuso series “Little Princess.”

According to Nelson Canlas’ “24 Oras” report Wednesday, “Little Princess” will show how the titular character overcomes her humble and oppressive beginnings to become a lady boss.

The series will also showcase Jo’s growth as an actress.

“Girl power talaga ’yung pinakita natin dito,” said the “Onanay” star.

Jo said when she learned about her character after reading the script, she prepared by rehearsing how to act like a boss in front of a mirror.

“Little Princess” also stars Angelika dela Cruz, who will be playing a supporting character to Jo instead of a villain for a change.

The cast includes Jestoni Alarcon, Geneva Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Gabrielle Hahn, Juancho Trivino, and Therese Malvar, who has also shared praises for their lead star.

“To be working with her, I learned a lot of things. Kasi sobrang galing ni Jo Berry,” she said. “[S]obrang lalim niyang tao, parang ang dami nyang pinaghuhugutan.”

“Little Princess” will start airing on GMA Jan 10. – RC, GMA News
