Alden Richards bares abs as he issues important reminder on Monday after New Year: 'Discipline is the key'

Alden Richards couldn't have picked a better time to issue a reminder and showcase his impressive abs.

On Instagram Monday morning — yes, on the Monday we go back to work after the Holiday festivities — the Kapuso heartthrob posted a series of photos baring his abs.

"Discipline is key," he wrote in the caption, obviously pertaining to the hard work he put into to get such a toned and healthy body.

His words though become especially applicable on this Monday, as we trudge back to our regular programming of work, workout, and diet.

His abs meanwhile become something of a metaphor: a most beautiful reward we get if we practice discipline.  

The new photo is a sweet followup to his birthday post where Alden was seen celebrating his 30th in a furry blanket.
