Ariella Arida admits feeling nervous to play mistress opposite real-life couple Zoren Legaspi, Carmina Villarroel

Ariella Avida revealed what it was like to play the role of a mistress opposite Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi for their highly anticipated afternoon drama "Stories From the Heart: The End Of Us."

In the series' press conference on Wednesday, Ariella said that she was extremely nervous playing the role of a third party to the real-life couple.

"Since the story con, I've already asked Ms. Mina what she can bear to see but she was so game. I was just so nervous in the beginning," Ariella said in Filipino.

"There's a scene where Ms. Mina will catch us in the act and I was like, 'I hope she doesn't get mad at me.' I really admire how professional they both are," she added.

In the upcoming series, Ariella plays the role of Eunice, the woman Zoren's character will cheat with while he is still married.

Ariella also said that she was nervous to play the role since she had to work with Carmina and Zoren, two actors who have worked in the industry for decades.

"I was super nervous so I really have to study everything, all of my scenes," she said. "I'm so happy that through time I got to meet with them, talk with them personally... I get to be more comfortable. It helped me so much, especially since Zoren also guided me."

Carmina added that she and Ariella had intense scenes together and it helped that they were able to hang out in person first.

"Stories From the Heart: The End of Us," directed by Zig Dulay, is Carmina and Zoren's first-ever drama together where they both play the lead roles.

The series revolves around a married couple who gets torn apart after the husband cheats. However, they find themselves reigniting the relationship during the process of annulment.

It is set to premiere on December 20.
