As Mikee Quintos renews ties with GMA, she reveals what she still wants to prove in time
Mikee Quintos renewed her ties with GMA Artist Center as she inked a contract last Thursday, Nov. 18.
"Congratulations on your contract renewal with GMA Artist Center. We wish you more success as you continue your journey as a Kapuso," GMA Artist Center said in an Instagram post.
Mikee is currently enjoying her role as Elsa in "Pepito Manaloto." In an interview with Kapuso reporters, she said that she's still learning so much in the show.
'Yung exploration ng comedy for me... when you think na-experience mo na lahat, 'di pa pala," she said. "Comedy, I realize, is so much harder than drama."
Aside from "Pepito Manaloto," Mikee is known for her roles in GMA shows like "The Gift" and "The Lost Recipe."
She also wowed audiences with her portrayal of Lira in "Encantadia" and Maila in "Onanay."
On top of acting, she recently ventured into singing as she made her music debut with the song "Just Enough."
But even though she's booked and busy, Mikee said that there is only one thing left for her to prove to herself.
"It's not about the achievements, it's not about how many shows, it's not about the ratings, it's about what you learn and how you use each opportunity that comes as a tool to help yourself grow as a person," she said.
"'Yung belief ko na 'yun 'yung gusto kong patunayan, na tama ako... and mapapatunayan ko lang siya in a few years' time," she added. —JCB, GMA News
