Maybelyn dela Cruz to make TV comeback on ‘Wish Ko Lang’ after nearly 10-year break

Maybelyn dela Cruz will be making her television comeback on “Wish Ko Lang” after a nearly 10-year hiatus.

According to Lhar Santiago’s “24 Oras” report, Wednesday, the former child star’s last acting project before her break was the GMA-7 series “Anna Karenina” in 2013.

She will star alongside Gabby Eigenmann, Bryce Eusebio, and Irma Adlawan on the upcoming “Wish Ko Lang” episode titled “Aksidente.”

Although she had been away from showbiz for quite some time, Maybelyn said she did not have a hard time adjusting because the people she worked with had been welcoming.

“I’m just grateful kasi after a long time, yung set ng ‘Wish Ko Lang,’ ’yung una kong show na nakapag-act ako, sobrang bait po ng mga tao,” she said.
