Rabiya Mateo makes acting debut on ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho: Gabi ng Lagim IX’

Rabiya Mateo is a scream queen!

The 2020 Miss Universe Philippines just made her acting debut in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho’s much-awaited Halloween special “Gabi ng Lagim IX” on October 31.

Rabiya starred in “Ngisngis,” where a young woman revisits her terrifying experience with a supernatural being that makes a giggling sound.

It looks like beauty queen delighted horror and pageant fans alike as the segment fetched more than 1.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours. As of writing, the video is among YouTube's top 50 trending.

The episode was also talked about on Twitter as netizens shared clips and photos of Rabiya’s first acting role.
