Xian Gaza says he asked out BLACKPINK's Jennie with giant billboard in South Korea

Xian Gaza is at it again with another viral date proposal, this time trying to catch the attention of Blackpink’s Jennie.

In a Facebook post this weekend, the self-proclaimed millionaire CEO shared a photo of what seems to be a billboard of himself on top of a building with a message saying:

“Kim Jennie Ruby Jane, you are my ultimate crush. ‘Can I take you out to dinner’ and make me the happiest man alive?”

In his caption, Gaza said he did not know how to contact Jennie so he opted to set up a billboard near her label, YG Entertainment.

The billboard is supposedly located at the address, “62, Noksapyeong-daero 11-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea.”

“I don't know how to contact her kaya pina-billboard ko na lang sa puso ng South Korea, few kilometers away from BLACKPINK's YG headquarters,” his post said.

“I hope she will say YES,” he added, using the hashtag #JennieChristianDinnerDate.

The grand gesture intended for the K-Pop superstar has gone viral on Facebook, with more than 83,000 reactions and 25,000 shares as of posting.

In another Facebook post, Gaza claimed he spent P1.5 million just to put up the billboard.

“Sabi nung isang business partner ko sa South Korea, lagyan daw namin ng mga company logo yung billboard para daw ma-promote ang aking mga negosyo't kumpanya,” he wrote.

“Kahit papaano eh masulit at makabawi-bawi daw sa 1.5 million pesos na aking ginastos. Hindi ako pumayag dahil mawawala kako yung sincerity ng aking dinner date proposal for Jennie. Sabi ko sa kanya eh mas pipiliin kong lumigaya kaysa kumita ng pera. Genuine happiness over money,” he added.

“Tutal kako yung 1.5m ay kaya ko namang kitain sa loob ng sampung araw.”

Xian also responded to "haters" telling him Jennie would not see the billboard as she was reportedly spotted in Los Angeles.

"Pinagtatawanan ako ng mga haters ko dahil si Jennie daw ay namataan sa LA at wala daw siya ngayon sa South Korea. Mukha lang daw akong tanga. Instead of feeling bad about it, napa-smile na lang ako," he wrote.

"...I don't care kung nasa LA, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Tokyo o kung nasaang lupalop man ng mundo si Jennie," he said.

"What I care about [is] if she and her management will say YES or NO to my dinner date proposal dahil bilang isang milyonaryo... kahit sa loob ng eroplano ay maaari kaming mag-hapunan."

Xian Gaza has repeatedly made headlines in the Philippines after publicly asking actress Erich Gonzales to go on a date with him, and allegedly “scamming” the family of another actress, Ella Cruz, in 2017.

He also went viral in 2018 when he was detained over an alleged million-peso scam involving his coffee shop business. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
