Ashley Rivera denies rumor that her boyfriend is a congressman

Ashley Rivera set the record straight and said her boyfriend is not a congressman.

In an episode of “The Boobay and Tekla Show,” Ashley said she doesn’t know why people are always linking her to politicians. 

“Nanggigigil na ako sa kung sino man ang gumagawa ng issue na ‘to. ‘Di ko alam ba’t laging sinasabi na karelasyon [ko ay] politician,” she said.

“Isang malaking cancel talaga sa’kin lahat ng politician, so hindi talaga siya totoo,” she added.

(“I’m  annoyed at who makes this issue. I don’t know why they always say that I’m in a relationship with a politician. Politicians are cancelled for me so it’s not true.”)

In fact, Ashley said her partner of two years works for the construction and aircon industry.

Though she chooses to keep it private from social media, she added that he is her “longest boyfriend.” — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
