Ruby Rodriguez and Jinky Oda recall their 'Okay Ka Fairy Ko' days

Filipino Gen-Zers and ate millennials would know Ruby Rodriguez and Jinky Oda as Amy and Bale in "Okay Ka, Fairy Ko."

The two have since settled in the US, where Ruby now works in the Philippine consulate in Los Angeles, while Jinky now works as a security personnel in San Francisco.

The two are set to work in a musical to be staged in Los Angeles come October, but before then, Amy and Bale came together — virtually — in an episode of "Tunay na Buhay."

The comedic chemistry between them is still undeniable. TNB host Pia Archangel quizzed the two about their "Okay Ka, Fairy Ko" days, with Ruby and Jinky ribbing each other about who was consistently late (Ruby, but she came from "Eat Bulaga"), who always brought a date (Jinky), and who had the talent to sleep just-like-that (Ruby).

TNB even brought in Alice Dixson (Faye) to share a few words about their good ol' days.

"Okay Ka Fairy Ko" was a decade-long fantasy show about a fairy (Faye, originally played by Alice Dixson) marrying a human (Enteng Kabisote played by Vic Sotto) and living in a Manila neighborhood. They had a child (Aiza played by Aiza Seguerra), who had a nanny (Amy, played by Ruby), who in turn had a friend/neighbor Bale (played by Jinky). — LA, GMA News
