Kim Seon Ho says he hopes fans will want a boyfriend like him after watching 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha'

Team Good Boy is in for a treat as Kim Seon Ho steps out of his string of second lead characters and stars as the leading man in the upcoming romantic comedy series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha!"

During a recent press conference, Seon Ho shared that he wished viewers would want a boyfriend like his character after they watch the show.

In the upcoming series, Seon Ho plays the role of Hong Du Sik, an unemployed jack-of-all-trades man who meets Yoon Hye Jin, a pragmatic dentist from the city who moves into his seaside village.

He described his character as someone who, although unemployed, is capable of everything and the whole village relies on.

The "Startup" actor said, "I wish a lot of females who are watching the drama will think, 'Oh I want to have a boyfriend like Du Sik.' I hope that will be something nice."

According to Seon Ho, "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" is a heartwarming story that can help people heal.

It revolves around Hye Jin and Du Sik who, despite their differences, find themselves growing fond of each other.
