Blackpink's Lisa breaks record after receiving overwhelming stock pre-orders for debut album - report
Blackpink's Lisa broke the record after she received an overwhelming amount of stock pre-orders for her solo debut album "Lalisa."
According to a Soompi report on Tuesday, YG Entertainment announced that Lisa's solo album has surpassed 700,000 stock pre-orders on Monday, four days since pre-order sales began.
Stock pre-orders is also known as the amount of album stock produced before the album's release. While the total of Lisa's stock pre-orders isn't final yet — fans have 10 days left to keep it coming — the number of stock pre-orders for "Lalisa" is already the greatest record achieved by a female solo K-pop artist.
Reports show that the orders came not only from South Korea, but also the United States, China, Japan, Europe and Southeast Asia.
"Lalisa" is sold in three formats: CD, LP and a KiT version.
After dropping her album teaser last week, Lisa is set to debut her solo album on Sept. 10 at 12 noon, Philippine Time. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
