Kim Domingo tests positive for COVID-19

Kim Domingo has tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) despite being fully vaccinated.

On Instagram Monday, the Kapuso star shared the unfortunate news by posting a photo of herself in tears on bed.

"Nag positibo ako sa COVID-19. First of all, hindi ko in-expect na tatamaan pa ako sa sobrang pag-iingat na ginagawa ko," Kim began the caption of her post.

Kim said she did not expect to get infected with COVID-19 as she has been extra careful with herself, disinfecting her things to the point that she's been made fun of by her peers.

She hasn't gone out for work, even with lock-in tapings, preferring to work from home instead.

After getting vaccinated, she decided to return to work and was scheduled to start the quarantine for "Love, Die Repeat."

Napaka wrong timing," she added. Despite her disappointment, Kim believes God has other plans for her.

The actress is clueless on how she got the virus.

The Kapuso actress also took the opportunity to encourage others to get vaccinated.

"Hindi natin sya nakikita. Kaya kung meron kayo pagkakataon na magpa-bakuna, magpa-bakuna kayo," she wrote.

She admitted to initially being hesitant to the vaccine but after having meaningful conversations with those who've gotten vaccinated, Kim realized getting vaccinated would be the best course of action for her and her family.

Kim said she is still continuously being cautious.

Love you all! Stay safe po sa lahat!" she ended her note.
