Miguel Tanfelix gushes over Camp Big Falcon set for 'Voltes V: Legacy'
Miguel Tanfelix could not help but be amazed after seeing the Camp Big Falcon set for "Voltes V: Legacy."
In Cata Tibayan's report for "24 Oras," Wednesday, Miguel gushed over the studio built for the highly-anticipated live action adaptation of "Voltes V."
Director Mark Reyes previously gave a sneak peek at Camp Big Falcon and said the set is as big as four basketball courts.
"Sobrang ganda, as in. Di ko inakala na ganun nila effort-an 'yung studio na 'yun," said Miguel, who will play Voltes V leader and Volt Cruiser pilot Steve Armstrong.
("It's such a beauty. I did not expect that they would pour such effort to the studio.")
"Meron kaming mga gamit dun na ngayon ko lang nakita sa set ng isang taping. Ngayon lang 'yun gagamitin. Sobrang na-amaze ako nung nakita ko 'yun kaya pag makita n'yo 'yun sa TV for sure ganun din yung reaction n'yo."
("There are equipment there that I'm seeing at a taping for the first time. They will be used only now. I was so amazed when I saw it so for sure you'll have the same reaction when you see it on TV.")
A teaser for "Voltes V: Legacy" was released in January and has already reached more than a million views on YouTube.
Aside from Miguel, the series will star Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson, Radson Flores as Mark Gordon, Matt Lozano as Big Bert, and Raphael Landicho as Little Jon.
The live action adaptation has been licensed by Japan's own Toei Company, Ltd. through its Philippine-licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.
