Ruru Madrid has quite some battle scars from intense action and water scenes for ‘Lolong’

Ruru Madrid truly is giving it his all for the upcoming GMA series “Lolong.”

In the photos shared by GMA Public Affairs Thursday, the Kapuso actor’s fit body is seen bearing various scars and even a very noticeable sunburn on his upper build.

According to the team, Ruru got those from doing non-stop action and water scenes under the heat of the sun during their lock-in taping.

Last month, Ruru said mentally preparing for “Lolong” was the hardest challenge for him.

He also flexed his rock-solid abs and arms through a workout video, which was the result of his bulking up journey and stunt training for the series.

Ruru is set to star alongside Dakila, a 22-feet animatronic crocodile in GMA's upcoming action-adventure series “Lolong." The premiere date is yet to be announced. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
